Ceiling Overboarding
Ceiling Overboarding is a method of covering existing ceilings which are in poor condition due to age damage or to cover finishes such as artex, new plasterboards are fixed with longer screws into timbers and then reskimmed to a flat smooth finish ready for decoration.
If the ceiling is in very bad condition it can be taken down or can have battens fixed over it and new plasterboards fitted and skimmed. |
